1. How to update the software?
Turn the scanner on and make sure there's a stable internet connection. Visit the Settings menu and select Version. Select “Detect Current Version,” and it will automatically start the update if there's a new update available.
You can also update the software by pressing the update button on the scanner. Just make sure it is connected to the Internet.

2. What's the price for updating the software after a year?
You will need to pay $100 per year to get the updates.

3. Is this a bi-directional scanner?
It supports bidirectional tests in the ABS only. With this feature, you can both send and receive data from the ABS components.

4. What's the difference between Launch CRP429C and CRP429?
CRP429 is an older model while CRP429C is an upgraded one. The CRP429C has 11 Special Service Functions while CRP429 supports only 8. The differences lie in the Electronic Throttle Position Reset, Gear Reset, and Battery Maintenance/Register.

5. Will this scanner work for motorcycles?
It will only diagnose the OBD2 system in motorcycles

6. What's the difference between CRP429 and CRP808 is:
Besides basic function, CRP429 special function is immo, dpf, sas and abs, while CRP808 is only for tpms.

8: Does it program remote key fob?
It says it should be able to RESET an immobilizer key (keyfob) if that is what you are looking for.

I am sorry, if you want to read fault codes for airbag system, that crp429 support it. If you want to reset airbag, I am sorry, crp429 does not support it, but X431 V support it,
